Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Video Invites (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use videoinvites.in (the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. If you sign in with your mobile number, we receive your phone number.
- Invitation content: event details, names, dates, venues and messages you enter to create your invitation, saved with your drafts. Photos and songs you add are processed in your browser to make the video and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner Cashfree Payments. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. We only receive the payment status, transaction ID and amount.
- Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and pages requested, recorded in our server logs for security and to fix problems.
- Usage data (analytics): we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Website is used: pages visited, designs viewed, actions such as editing, saving and downloading an invitation, approximate location (city/country), device and browser, and the website or ad that brought you here. It does not include the names, dates or photos in your invitation.
2. How we use your information
- To create, preview, save and deliver your invitations
- To process payments and send order confirmations
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests
- To improve our templates, features and website performance
- To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Our payment partner (Cashfree Payments) to process transactions
- Service providers that help us run the Website: Google Firebase (sign-in and analytics), Microsoft Azure (hosting in India), Hostinger (email) and Google Fonts
- Government or legal authorities when required by law
4. Your content
Invitations, photos and details you add remain yours. We use them only to create and deliver your invitation. We do not use your personal photos for marketing.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and saved invitations while your account is active, so you can open and download a purchased invitation again from My invites. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, except records we must keep for tax or legal purposes (such as payment records).
6. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser briefly stores unsaved edits while you sign in. Google Analytics for Firebase sets its own cookies to count visits and measure how the Website is used; we do not use them for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings (or use an analytics opt-out add-on), but signing in and saving drafts need the essential cookie.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw your consent, by contacting us at support@videoinvites.in.
9. Children
The Website is not intended for children under 18. Parents or guardians may create invitations on behalf of their children.
10. Grievance Officer
